This one-day workshop offers a gentle, creative space for remembering and celebrating loved ones who have passed. Participants are invited to bring a small object, photograph, or natural item that holds personal meaning, using it as inspiration for their artwork.
Using simple materials including inks, acrylics, watercolour, and collage, participants may create small pieces that reflect memory, emotion, and connection. This day retreat balances quiet reflection, creative exploration, and optional sharing in a supportive environment.
The facilitator draws on her own artistic practice, exploring how light, translucency, and colour can carry memory and evoke emotion. Participants are guided through gentle exercises and personal creative time, discovering ways to express remembrance through colour, form, and texture.
By the end of the day, participants will have one or more small artworks to take home, that offer comfort, reflection, and a tangible reminder of the day’s experience. The workshop is suitable for all levels of artistic experience.
