Bield Japanese Garden

The inspiration for the Japanese Garden came from the sculptural remains of the Rhododendron bushes, and the garden was built around them. The garden consists of 4 key elements.
Water symbolizing the power of life. Stone representing hills and mountains. Plants, Lichen and Moss used with restraint as showy flowers would be considered a distraction. The Bamboo fence and wood from the Rhododendrons symbolizes the path to paradise and immortality.

The aim of the garden is to convey a feeling of calm and peace. A place to retreat for meditation or reflection. A minimalistic space without extravagance or ornamentation.
Enter via the bamboo opening.
