The mission of The Bield is summed up in three words: Hospitality, Spirituality & Healing. In service of that mission, we are recruiting for a Pastoral Worker to work four days each week or two part-time workers to split this between them

Process :

Salary : £19 per hour plus 7% pensions contribution

Temporary accommodation possible on site.

Holidays: 34 days per year pro rata

Seeking a Housekeeper

for our busy Charity Retreat and conference Centre

 

Average 25 hrs per week

Rate of Pay: £12.40  per hour

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our small friendly team looking after guests at our 9 bedroomed retreat and conference centre situated in beautiful landscaped grounds on the outskirts of Perth.

​

Our dining room can seat up to 23 guests, and we occasionally hold larger events.  Our gardeners grow our own seasonal organic produce for use in the kitchen.

​

We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a hospitality environment who has:

  • Good communication skills and the desire to get involved

  •  Is able to work as part of a team

  •  Has a flexible approach to work

  •  Has good organisational skills 

 

Job Description

 

The job will involve housekeeping duties.

​

 

Housekeeping

  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Centre, including the kitchen

  • Liaise with your line manager in relation to daily chores requiring completion

  • To help with make up beds and with laundry if needed

  • Ensure all toilet facilities are cleaned to a high standard as well as ensuring there is enough soap, toilet rolls and hand towels

  • Complying with all Health and Safety procedures and COSHH assessments

  • Ensure any maintenance issues are reported to your line manager in a timely manner

  • To carryout deep cleans in the building as required or requested by your line manager
